Phytosanitary Inspection

ZMS Lagma is a registered Phytosanitary Service Agency with the Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine & Storage (DPPQ&S), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India. We are authorized to conduct official phytosanitary inspections and laboratory testing as per national and international export standards.

Services

Phytosanitary Inspection

The export inspections involves sampling and detailed laboratory tests in case of seeds and planting material for propagation whereas visual examination with hand lens and washing tests, etc are carried out for plant material meant for consumption. The export inspections are conducted at exporters’ premises also to facilitate exports for agricultural commodities meant for consumption .


Inspection of plants and plant material meant for export as per the requirements under International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) 1951 of FAO to facilitate pest free trade.

Nematological Examination
Tests for plant pathological nematodes.
Plant Pathological examination
Tests for detecting bacterial, fungal and viral infections.
Molecular Diagnostic Examinations.
Advanced molecular testing for DNA/ RNA level analysis for detection of viral and bacterial infection.
Weed Seed Examination
Test for weed seeds, soil particles and plant debries.
